Cressida Cowell is an English children's author who wrote the Hiccup series of books. She was raised in Central London[1] and has written numerous children books. Cressida Cowell lives in London, with her husband Simon, daughters Maisie and Clementine and son Alexander.[2] She is the daughter of Michael Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham.[3] One of her children's novels, How to Train Your Dragon has been made into a movie that was released on March 26, 2010.
