John Boyne (born on April 30, 1971) is an Irish novelist. He taught English at Trinity College, and Creative Literature at the University of East Anglia, where he was honored with the Curtis Brown award. He has written five romances and is writing (in 2007) the sixth, as well as a number of stories that were published in various anthologies and transmitted by radio and television. His romances have been published in 29 languages.
