Arnaldo Jabor is a Brazilian movie director, critic and writer. Formed in the environment of the New Cinema, he took part in the second phase of the movement, which sought to analyze the national reality, inspired by the Italian neo-realism and the French nouvelle. His first full-length film was the innovative documentary “Opinião Pública” (Public Opinion), in 1967, a kind of mosaic about how Brazilians look at their own reality.
