Walcyr Rodrigues Carrasco

Walcyr Rodrigues Carrasco is a Brazilian writer, playwright and author of soap operas. His career began when he worked as a journalist in the principal press media. His debut as an author occurred in the theater, with plays such as “Batom” (Lipstick), which acclaimed the actress Ana Paula Arósio, and “Êxtase” (Ecstasy). Walcyr is also the author of children’s books, such as “Vida de Droga” (Drug Life) and “O Menino Narigudo” (The Big-nosed Boy), used as educational books in Brazilian schools.
