In 2010, stimulated by the worldwide trend of valorization of gastronomy, the Book Biennial of São Paulo launched a new cultural space. Cooking with Words, a gastronomy arena that received Brazilian and foreign kitchen chefs, professionals from the sector, gastronomy critics and personalities enthusiasts of the art of eating well to debate the theme, in addition to addressing the gastronomy depicted in books.
In the space erected at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, a kitchen was erected to prepare dishes during the 40 workshops held with the presence of the public.
