The 25th São Paulo International Book Fair took place from August 03 to 12, 2018 at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion.
The event is the venue for the meeting of the main publishers, bookstores and distributors in the country, presenting their most important launches to approximately 600 thousand visitors in a total space of 75 thousand m².
Besides the great offer of books, the Book Fair still has a comprehensive cultural program, mixing literature, gastronomy, culture, business and lots of fun.

Birth
1st Book Fair, created by CBL and held in Praça da República.

1st Book Fair
In partnership with the São Paulo Museum of Art, the 1st International Book Fair took place.
1961
The CBL
The International Book Fair will be held solely by CBL.
1970
Achievement
The event reaches its first major brand, 80 thousand visitors and 700 exhibitors.
1972
Venue
It started being held at Expo Center Norte.
1996
Success
Due to the great success, we moved to the Imigrantes Exhibition Center.
2002
We moved again!
It is now being held at Anhembi, the largest exhibition center in Latin America.
2006
Project
The project entitled Reading is My Thing contemplated the Child and Youth Public.
2008
Organizer
Reed Exhibitions Alcântara Machado became an official organizer, in partnership with CBL.
2010
22nd - Transforming the world
22nd International Book Fair of São Paulo with the position "Because books transform the world, because books transform people."
2012
23rd All Mixed Up
23rd São Paulo International Book Fair with the "All Mixed Up" positioning. Beginning of Sesc's partnership in the construction of the Book Fair.
2014
24th Best in every way
24th São Paulo International Book Fair with the positioning "Stories in all directions", strengthening the positioning of 2014 and having brought the concept of associating the book with the things people like.
2016
25th Download of Knowledge
25th São Paulo International Book Fair, with the position of 'Come take part in this download of knowledge,' discussing the leading role played by books in Brazilians' new perception in relation to the vortex of channels for accessing content that today's technology provides.
